Accident to the glider LAK-17, registration F-CGDT

On 5 August 2016, during a winch launch of the glider LAK-17BT, registration F-CGDT, the pilot lost control and the glider crashed into the ground. The pilot was seriously injured. The glider was destroyed.

Safety investigation is conducted by French Safety Investigation Authority (Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses pour la Sécurité de l'Aviation civile).
