Accident to the glider LAK-17, registration G-CKKK

On 27 August 2016, the glider LAK-17, registration G-CKKK, during a flight at a low altitude, made a left turn. During the turn, the glider's left wing struck the power lines. The glider pilot was fatally injured. The glider was destroyed.

Safety investigation is conducted by French Safety Investigation Authority (Bureau d'Enquêtes et d'Analyses pour la Sécurité de l'Aviation civile).
