Accident to the glider LAK-17A registration VH-GTV

On 15 November 2019 14 WST (UTC+08) in Cunderdin Aerodrome, Australia, during climb the glider LAK-17A, registration VH-GTV, entered into a spin and the pilot was unable to recover the glider. The pilot subsequently parachuted to the ground. The glider collided with the terrain. The pilot was seriously injured. The glider was destroyed.

The safety investigation is not performed. Regarding that, the Republic of Lithuania, as a state of design and manufacture of the glider, has not appointed the accredited representative.
