Accident to the glider LAK-17 registration F-CJLL

On 17 April 2021 on arriving at Oloron, the pilot of the glider LAK-17 registration F-CJLL was above the glide path and at too great a speed. He carried out a pull-out and turned to line up on the reciprocal QFU. He lost control in the turn and collided with vegetation. The glider was destroyed. The pilot was minor injured.
The safety investigation is performing by the Safety Investigation Authority of the France (Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses pour la sécurité de l’aviation civile (BEA)).
