Accident to glider PZL SZD-30 Pirat registration LY-GPP

On 9 July 2021, due to the lost altitude, the pilot of the glider PZL SZD-30 Pirat registration LY-GPP decided to land on the field selected from the air. The descent was downwind and with high speed. Due to the approaching trees, the pilot decided to stop the rolling glider by dropping its wing to the ground. The glider overturned. The glider destroyed. The pilot uninjured.
