Accident to the glider LAK-17B FES mini JET registration LY-GRO

On 2 August 2021 the glider LAK-17B FES mini JET registration LY-GRO collided in to the ground. The glider was destroyed. The pilot was fatal injured.

The safety investigation is performing by the Safety Investigation Authority of the France (Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses pour la sécurité de l’aviation civile (BEA)).

The Republic of Lithuania, as a state of design and manufacturer and a state of registry of the glider, has appointed the accredited representative and his technical advisors to this safety investigation.
