Accident to the glider LAK-12, registration ZK-GRR

On 18 February 2024, the glider LAK-12, ZK-GRR, crashed during the winch launch at Lake Station airstrip, Howard, New Zealand. The pilot was fatally injured. The glider was destroyed.

The safety investigation is conducting by the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand.
