Accident to the hot air balloon Schroeder G36/24, registration LY-BDR

On 5 May 2024, the hot air balloon "Schroeder G36/24", registration LY-BDR, due to a change of weather conditions, during the landing collided the roofs of houses and power lines, then was dragged along the ground until it stopped, caught in a tree. The pilot and 6 passengers were injured. The hot air balloon was damaged beyond economical repair.
