On 12 August 2024 the aircraft ATR 72-500 (72-212A), registration LY-JUP, on approach at Guernsey Airport, continued to descend below the approach ban altitude.

The safety investigation is performed by the Safety Investigation Authority of the United Kingdom (Air Accidents Investigation Branch).

The Republic of Lithuania, as a state of registry and a state of operator of the aircraft, has appointed the accredited representative and his technical advisor to this safety investigation.
