Accident to the glider Bergfalke II-55, registration LY-DGX

On 22 September 2023 the pilot of the glider Bergfalke II-55, registration LY-DGX, having assessed that he would not reach the Kartena aerodorme, decided to land at the nearest site east of Dauginčiai village. During the landing the wing touched the ground, resulting in a ground loop. The glider was significantly damaged. The pilot was not injured.
