Accident to the aircraft Cessna 172S, registration LY-BOF

On 25 April 2026, during the training flight the aircraft Cessna 172S, registration LY-BOF, maintained an excessive nose-up attitude during touchdown, leading to a tail strike. The aircraft sustained structural damage. The crew was uninjured.

The Civil Aviation Accidents and Incidents Investigation Commission (CIAIAC) of Spain has not initiated a safety investigation in accordance with Paragraph 5 of Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No 996/2010.
