Less serious accident with Ro-Pax ship Marco Polo, IMO 9019080

On 11 February 2020, Ro-Ro passenger ship Marco Polo, registered in Cyprus, while mooring in Klaipeda State Seaport at berth no. 128, dropped anchors. Attempts to heave up the starboard anchor on board were unsucsesfull, therefore anchor was marked and unhooked. An anchor search and heaving up service was ordered, the anchor was successfully found and returned to the ship. No damage was sustained to the shore infrastructure, no people were affected.
