Less serious accident with general cargo ship Afalina, IMO 8820092

On June 9 2020, the ship Afalina, registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania, while proceeding in the Nothe Sea, sustained the malfunction of the turbocharger of the main engine. As a result the ship’s main engine was stopped by the crew, anchor dropped. It was decided not to continue the voyage, the ship was towed to a ship repair yard.
