Less serious accident with general cargo ship Amiko, IMO 9125669

On 24 July 2020, while maneuvering, ship “Amiko” registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania, sustained equipment failure causing malfunction of the rudder rotation angle indicator, installed on the bridge. This led to the ship‘s contact with the port facilities. The contact caused penetration damages in the hull above the waterline and slightly damaged port facilities. No damage to the environment was sustained, no people were injured.
