Less serious accident with general cargo ship Korsoe, IMO 9519054

On 6 April 2020, while vessel Korsoe, registered in Cyprus, was at the quay, the seaman/cook was assisting with securing cargo in cargo hold. As the hold’s entrance was blocked, the seaman/cook used rope ladder for access. As the ladder‘s ropes broke, the seamen/cook fell down on his legs and sustained serious injuries. The first aid was provided onboard to the affected, then he was transferred to medical facility ashore.
