Less serious accident with ro-ro cargo ship Gardenia Seaways, IMO 9809095

On 26 August 2020, ship Gardenia Seaways, registered in the Register of Seagoing ships of the Republic of Lithuania, assisted by tugs, while manoeuvring in unfavorable strong wind conditions in the port area, sustained break of the towing line. Broken towing line severely damaged Gardenia Seaways' free-fall lifeboat‘s hull. No damage to the environment sustained, no people were injured.
