Less serious accident with dredger Tiger, IMO 9591416

On 13 February 2020,  dredger Tiger, IMO 9591416, registered in Luxemburg, was loading dredged material. During loading, part of dredged material fell from bucket and damaged ship‘s coaming deck railing and deck lighting. Occurrence has no effect on ships‘ operational characteristics. No people were injured, no environmental pollution reported.

The notification about accident was received on 11 March, 2021. It shall be noted that maritime accidents and incidents must be assessed and a decision made whether or not to carry out a safety investigation within two months of the date of the accident or incident. Maritime accidents and incidents must be reported immediately to the investigator-in-charge of maritime accidents and incidents.
