Less serious accident with ship Aquarius, IMO 9143582

On 23 January 2021, Lithuanian registered seagoing ship Aquarius, while proceeding in the Mediterranean sea, sustained a malfunction of main machinery. Main engine stopped. Tugs were ordered and on 24 January 2021, ship was towed to port for inspection. Inspection carried out by divers revealed, that ship's propeller was stranded by floating fishing net and rope. No injuries to people sustained, no pollution reported.
