Less serious accident with inland waterway cargo-passenger ship Baltija, reg. no P-420

On January 28, 2021, inland waterway cargo-passenger ship Baltija, registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania, with passengers and cargo on board, while proceeding from Smiltynė (New Ferry Terminal) to berth No 77 in Klaipėda State Seaport, sustained malfunction of bow rudder and ship with port side contacted the berth. Port side of the hull was non-seriously damaged. No injuries to people sustained, no pollution reported.
