On 21 April 2021, service ship Centaurus, IMO 9433755, registered in Antigua and Barbuda, engaged in towing of barge Stema Barge II, while manoeuvring in Klaipeda State Seaport area, sustained a near miss collision accident with motor barge Freke R, IMO 9808871, registered in the Netherlands. There was a pilot on board the Centaurus at the time of the incident.
