Less serious accident with general cargo ship Saffier, IMO 9357511

On 14 August 2021, general cargo ship Saffier, IMO 9357511, registered in the Netherlands, while leaving the Klaipeda State Seaport, sustained a main engine shutdown in port gates‘ area. Anchors were dropped. Tugs were ordered. After the crew started the main engine, the ship, escorted by tugs, proceeded to sea and continued her voyage. No injuries, no pollution reported.
