Accident to the ultralight aircraft CT-2K, registration LY-BDN

On 20 April 2017, a test flight after aircraft engine maintenance was performed with the ultralight aircraft Flight Design CT-2K, sequentially allocated national and registration marks LY-BDN. The pilot reported engine shutdown during flight, causing the aircraft to crash on the western shore of the Kilučiai lake (in a flooded meadow), northeast of the Biržai aerodrome. The pilot of the ultralight aircraft was seriously injured. The ultralight aircraft was destroyed.
