On 20 July 2022 the glider LAK-17B registration F-CLHA crashed on mountainous terrain in Melezet - Bardonecchia, Italia. The pilot was fatally injured. The glider destroyed.

The safety investigation is performing by the Italian safety investigation authority (Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza del Volo (ANSV)).

The Republic of Lithuania, as a state of design and manufacturer of the glider, has appointed the accredited representative and his technical advisors to this safety investigation.
