Accident to the ultralight aircraft RANS S-6ES Coyote II (not registered)

On 9 August 2025, during an attempted take-off from a field near Bariūnai village, Joniškis district, Lithuania, the aircraft RANS S-6ES Coyote II experienced a crosswind gust, turned to the side and impacted a nearby ditch. During the accident, the aircraft propeller, front landing gear and engine cowlings were damaged. The person piloting the aircraft was uninjured.
