On May 30, 2026, at 20.00 hrs, the experimental ultralight gyroplane Calidus, registration LY-BBA, was attempting to take off from runway 26L. The rotor blade struck the ground, causing the aircraft to tip over onto its left side. The pilot was unharmed. The aircraft sustained structural damage.
