On August 9, 2026, around 17.00 hrs, the experimental amateur built aircraft Tarragon, registration YL-BRO, departed Nida aerodrome (EYNI) for flight to Biržai. In flight engine oil pressure began to drop and the pilot made an emergency landing to the field in the vicinity of Mingė village, Šilutė district. The pilot was uninjured. According to initial information, the landing gear was damaged during landing.
