Freight train No. 3080 accident

Between stations Baisogala - Gudžiūnai, track No. II, switch No. 4K

On 1 May 2026, a freight train No. 3080 traveling between stations Baisogala and Gudžiūnai on track No. II, while over switch No. 4K, has derailed with three wagons, one wagon No. 65773558 derailed towards outside of the track, and two wagons No. 60045317 and No. 60598984 towards parallel track. During railway accident 10 km of railway infrastructure and rolling stock sustained damages.
