Traffic accident in which a VW Touran hit pedestrians

On 3 July 2025 at around 10.40 a.m. in Vilnius, Žirmūnų Street, a VW Touran, possibly due to the driver's impaired health, drove off the road and hit two pedestrians standing near a public transport stop, and then crashed into a tree. One pedestrian was killed and the other injured in the accident.
