Traffic accident involving an Opel Zafira and a DAF truck

On September 17 at around 7:40 a.m. on the 46 km of road No. A10 Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga at an uncontrolled intersection, the driver of an Opel Zafira, turning left from road No. 125 Biržai–Raubonys, failed to pass a DAF truck with a Schmitz Cargobull semi-trailer driving on the main road and collided with it. The driver and passenger of the Opel Zafira were injured in the traffic accident, and the driver of the Opel Zafira died in hospital on the same day.
