Less serious accident with inland waterway passenger ship Benas, reg no. P-262

On 28 June 2022, ship Benas, reg no. P-262, registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania, while on a commercial voyage with passengers on board, sustained main engine failure. The ship was moored on the Smiltynė side, the passengers were disembarked ashore. The ship was towed for repairs. No injuries, no pollution or other damage were reported.
