Shipping canal of the Klaipeda State Seaport

On 10 October 2022, ship Pacific Reefer, IMO 9179268, registered in Liberia, while proceeding in Klaipeda State Seaport shipping canal, with assistance of tugs, due to technical failure sustained main engine shut down. Tugs continued assistance until ship‘s crew started main engine and ship departed from the port.

No people were injured, the environment was not polluted, no damage to ships, shore infrastructure sustained.
