On 19 October 2022, when the Antigua and Barbuda-registered vessel Bernhard Schepers, IMO 9492505, moored to the quay and was preparing to lower the gangway, a qualified seaman was seriously injured in the gangway structures. The affected was taken to a medical facility by ambulance.
