Incident with inland waterway ships Mūša, Reg. No. P-394, Banga, Reg. No. P-279, and fishing vessel Fugloysund, IMO8650332

On 3 February 2023, tugboat Mūša, Reg. No. P-394, registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania,  being engaged in mooring of the vessel Banga Reg. No. P-279, registered in the same registry, lost control over the latter. As a result Banga drifted and collided with the decommissioned Norwegian registered fishing vessel Fugloysund, IMO 8650332, moored at the quay. During the mooring operation the main engine of the vessel Banga was not working. Colision resulted in dent in the hull of the ship Fugloysund. No people were injured during the incident, and the environment was not polluted.
