Less serious accident with tugboat TAK-6, IMO 9550917, and fishing vessel Fugloysund, IMO8650332

On 30 January 2023, the decommissioned, unmanned vessel Fugloysund, IMO 8650332,  registered in Norway, was moored at the quay. Due to strong wind and waves, the mooring lines of the vessel Fugloysund were broken. In order to prevent ship Fugloysund from drifting and possible damage, tugboats were called. Tugboat TAK-6, IMO 9550917, pushed Fugloysund to the quay to prevent her from drifting. As a result, due to excessive pushing forces, the structure of the Fugloysund's hull have been deformed. The environment was not polluted, no people were injured.
