On 8 February 2023, tanker Flora registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania, Reg. No. LT-P-963, while mooring to another ship, collided with the special purpose ship Baltic Explorer, IMO8917663, registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania, who was alongside quay no. 23. As a result of the collision, the hull of the ship Baltic Explorer was damaged above the waterline. The hull of Baltic Explorer is made of composite glass fiber materials. No people were injured during the accident, and the environment was not polluted.
