Less serious accident with ro-ro passenger vessel Regina Seaways, IMO 9458535, tanker Bull Kangean, IMO 9267027, and tugboat Tytan, IMO 9101194

On 7 February 2023, the towing line of the tug Tytan, IMO 9101194, registered in Poland, broke while shifting the vessel Regina Seaways, IMO 9458535, registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania, which  was under repairs. As a result, the control over the Regina Seaways was lost and she collided with the Indonesian-registered vessel Bull Kangean, IMO 9267027, moored at the quay, and two minutes later, with the pontoon. The hull of the Regina Seaways sustained a penetration damage above the waterline. No people were injured, the environment was not polluted.
