Less serious accident with containership MSC Eloise, IMO 8917778

On 14 February 2023, ship MSC Eloise, IMO 8917778, registered in Panama, lost the propulsion power after unmooring form the quay during departure from Klaipėda State Seaport. The ship with assistance of tugboats was berthed to repair malfunctions of the main engine. A pilot was on board at the time of the accident. No people were injured and the environment was not polluted.
