Incident with inland waterway vessel Banga, reg. no P-279, and patrol ship Aukštaitis (P14)

On 6 April 2023, ship Banga, reg. no P-279, registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania,  while mooring to patrol ship of the Lithuanian Naval Force Aukštaitis (P14), collided with the latter. As a result ship Aukštaitis sustained hull surface damage above the waterline. Incident had no impact on ships‘ operational characteristics. No damage to the environment sustained, no people were injured.
