Serious accident with ro-ro passenger ship Regina Seaways, IMO 9458535

On 19 August 2023, ship Regina Seaways, IMO 9458535, registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania, while proceeding in the North Atlantic Ocean from Rosslare (Ireland) to the port of Dunkerque (France), due to bad weather conditions, sustained damages of the hull structures.

During the voyage, the ship did not use assistance from the shore. No people were injured during the accident, and the environment was not polluted. After the accident the repairs were carried out.
