Less serious accident with containership „Escape“, IMO 9491501

On 25 July 2024, ship Escape, IMO 9491501, registered in the Netherlands, while proceeding in Klaipeda State Seaport water area, due to technical failure sustained main engine shut down and ship started to drift. After the crew eliminated the fault, the ship's main engine normal operation was restored and the ship continued her voyage. No injuries, no pollution or other damage were reported.
