On 7 October 2024, while transferring sludge from the Malta-registered ship Avenir Ascention, IMO 9868974, to the ship "Danė", reg. no. LT-P-615, unspecified amount of sludge was spilled into the water. The procedure for the collection of spilled pollutants has been started.
