Less serious accident with general cargo ship Madicken, IMO 9195755

On 6 May, 2025, the Cyprus-registered vessel Madicken, IMO 9195755, lost its anchor without chain while in the Klaipėda State Seaport road. No people were injured during the incident, the environment was not polluted, and no information was received about damage to marine infrastructure. The location of the anchor has been determined, and its removal is planned.
