Incident with inland waterway ship (ferry) “Nida”, IMO 9381782

On June 9, 2025, the ferry "Nida", IMO 9381782, registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels of the Republic of Lithuania, was performing voyage Klaipėda - Smiltynė from the Old Ferry. After unmooring from the quay in Klaipėda, a passenger (man) fell overboard from ferry into the water. The affected was rescued and did not suffer any serious injuries.
