Serious accident with non-self-propelled barge B-16, reg. no. B-085

On March 5, 2026, while loading soil excavated in the port water area into the non-self-propelled, unmanned barge B-16, registered in the Register of Inland Waterway Vessels’ of the Republic of Lithuania, it listed and sank. The environment was not polluted during the accident, and no people were injured. It is planned to raise the sunken barge.
