The Safety Investigation Division participated in the annual meeting of the European Maritime Safety Agency’s Underwater Services User Group
On 15 September 2026, The Safety Investigation Division participated in the annual meeting of the European Maritime Safety Agency’s (EMSA) Underwater Services User Group. Since January 2023, EMSA has been offering a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) service to EU Member States. The service aims to provide underwater inspection of objects (such as shipwrecks, infrastructure, etc.) to EU accident investigation bodies and other national authorities in the fields of maritime safety and pollution prevention.
