In the vicinity of Lleida airport, the Kingdom of Spain

On 12 July 2023, at approximately 10:25 local time, the aircraft Tecnam P2006T, EC-NCA, suffered a bird impact during an instruction flight, which stopped moments after receiving the impact. The crew declared an emergency and landed at the aerodrome, without further incident. The aircraft resulted in damage to the right engine gondola and the right engine. The crew was unharmed.

The safety investigation is performed by the Safety Investigation Authority of the Kingdom of Spain (Comisión de Investigación de Accidentes e Incidentes de Aviación Civil).

The Republic of Lithuania, as a state of operator of the aircraft, has appointed the accredited representative and his technical advisor to this safety investigation.
