Safety Investigation Division participated in 6th Nordic - Baltic meeting of Marine Accident Investigation Authorities
On 19-20 May 2026, the Safety Investigation Division participated in the 6th annual meeting of marine accident investigation authorities of the Nordic and Baltic states in Reykjavik, Iceland, which was organized this year by the Icelandic Safety Investigation Authority. In the meeting relevant information about ongoing and completed marine accident safety investigations in Lithuania was introduced. These meetings are an opportunity to share experience in conducting safety investigations with investigators from other countries and to strengthen cooperation between the Baltic and Nordic safety investigation authorities.
