The Safety Investigation Division participated in the annual meeting of the European Maritime Safety Agency’s Underwater Services User Group
On 16 September 2025, The Safety Investigation Division participated in the annual meeting of the European Maritime Safety Agency’s (EMSA) Underwater Services User Group. Since January 2023, EMSA has been offering a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) service to EU Member States. The aim of the service is to provide underwater surveys using surveillance-class ROVs to accident and incident investigation authorities and other national authorities in the fields of maritime safety and pollution prevention.
